I dreamt of seven whales leaping over my head, and I following that imagery and it's resonance in a new series to restore my brain

Coming out of nine hours anesthesia...

Due to trauma resulting from of 15 hours of brain surgery--I found myself wandering in realms I had previously only observed others so doing.

I  began to see this as an opportunity to explore my own brain--to make my experience visual, not merely medicalized and pathologised.--Rachael Romero .
